The first chapter
Even while still in corporate, ambitious, driven, giving everything I had, I was already building something on the side. A Hip-Hop Yoga label that was entirely my own. When my body finally forced me to stop, I made a decision: I left, and threw myself into it fully.
I taught 25 classes a week. Mornings, evenings, weekends. Whenever everyone else had time off, I was working. Private clients, public classes, always on, always available.
I had built my own business. I was free.
Except I wasn't. Because trading one form of overworking for another isn't freedom. And teaching every hour of every day left little room for the things that truly mattered: my family, my joy, my life.
I knew there had to be another way.
The shift
In 2019, sound entered my life. I didn't plan it. I didn't see it coming. But from the moment it did, everything changed.
The way my mind felt. The way I made decisions. The clarity that came when I finally got still enough to hear myself. Sound didn't just become a practice, it became the foundation of everything.
It decluttered my mind in a way nothing else had. And through that clarity, I could finally see clearly and honestly what I actually wanted.
Not just a business. A life.
The life I built
Then I became a mother. And that changed everything again.
Suddenly it wasn't just about my own freedom, it was about showing up fully for my son, for my family, for the people I loved. And about building something lasting. Something real.
So I rebuilt. Intentionally. From the inside out.
Today I run a six-figure business doing work I love, on my own terms. I teach a handful of weekends a year, one or two evenings a month. I travel. I am present. I designed my business completely around the life I want to live, not the other way around.
